Coventry-based Air Kraft has repeated its outstanding performance of previous years by winning the 2016 Atlas Copco Compressors Distributor of the Year award. As Air Kraft’s managing director, Craig May-Russell observes: “Our primary approach to meeting the needs of customers is to provide energy-saving installations. In some cases, we’ve been able to help companies achieve annual reductions in compressed air power consumption of as much as £60,000.”

NFPC Open Day enjoys biggest event yet

This year’s National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) Open Day, held at the centre’s premises in Worksop Nottinghamshire on 15 February, was its biggest event to date, attracting over 400 visitors, and comprising exhibitors from Niagara Falls in Canada to Barcelona in Spain. Visitors and exhibitors were made up of organisations active in over 20 industry sectors. There were 40 new exhibitors compared with last year; 18 of which are linked to ISE and electronics & control in particular.
