  At Rotec Hydraulics Ltd, we are investing heavily in and expanding our technical team. We have an opportunity for four experienced Hydraulic Service Engineers to join our technical team at either our Taunton, Falmouth or Plymouth Service Centres.

  Rotec is a leading supplier of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Mechanical engineering services and products. Our clients span all industry sectors, including Defence, Aerospace, Transport, Utilities, Manufacturing and Marine.

  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Working predominantly in a small team either within our own service centres or at customer sites to support a wide range of hydraulic engineering projects across the business. The ‘Hydraulic Engineer’ role is predominantly hands on and requires the ideal candidate to be highly motivated and able to support and provide technical resolutions whilst working closely with our design teams and service centre leads.

  THE PERSON

  · Previous experience in general engineering and servicing of hydraulic systems

  · Knowledge of electrics/electronics is desirable, but not essential

  · Relevant engineering qualifications

  · BFPA qualifications are highly desirable, but training will be given where required

  · Good communication skills

  · Keen eye for detail

  · Energetic, self motivated and a problem-solver

  · Team player

  · Organisational and time-management skills

  · Full driving licence
