Twinings selects Teseo piping (Jan/Feb 2012)
Teseo srl has supplied its modular piping system to British tea manufacturer Twinings’ new plant in Swarzedz, Poland, built in the second half of 2010 and commissioned in early 2011. Teseo’s scope of supply to Twinings included 700 meters of HBS 110 profiles for compressed air distribution in the main loop and compressor room, 2000 meters of HBS 50 piping for secondary lines, and over 300 meters of HBS 32 and AP 25 profiles for the connection of machinery and auxiliary services.

Mattei improves efficiency by over 50 per cent at E.ON CHP site (Jan/Feb 2012)
Compressor manufacturer Mattei has installed an AC30sH compressor at an E.ON combined heat and power (CHP) site in Stoke-on-Trent, following a data logging exercise to assess the efficiency of the existing compressed air system. The AC30sH has replaced one of two existing Mattei machines, and, combined with the installation of dew point switching devices for two ancillary dryers, estimated energy savings are in the region of 51 per cent.
